William Hill
William Hill is a UK sports betting site with a Canadian branch and a small selection of eSports. William Hill offers, horse racing, cycling, street racing, and motor sports, including motorbikes, street and non-street stunting bikes, as well as horse hunts.
The odds with William Hill’s Canadian betting site is generally on par with other bookmakers when comparing sport to sport evaluations. The sportsbook offers hundreds of daily opportunities to bet. This site uses the American, or Moneyline system which uses positive and negative numbers such as +100 etc.
The types of tournaments and events regularly covered by William Hill include FAA, FIFA, NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, Major League Soccer and many more.
William Hill’s welcome bonuses are scarce. Generally speaking there is one welcome promotion worth $50. You can never cash out the $50, although you are free to cash out the earnings of the $50 bet.
In-Play and live streaming is available at William Hill. You have to sign in and have a positive account balance to watch the sport that you place a bet on. You can place bets on horse racing, street racing, speedway racing, cycling, and more.
The mobile app offers a compact yet functional view of the website version of William Hill.
Customer service is great and readily available 24/7 by phone, email, and online live chat. There are articles on the site that explain different games, and sometimes promotions pop up on your dashboard based on your interests.
Extra Betting Roundup:

Unikrn
Unikrn is a newcomer to the eSports betting scene. Launched in 2015, it provides a place for eSports fans to wager in various game leagues. It is the first eSportsbook dedicated exclusively to eSports. Unikrn uses the decimal odds system. They also use their own proprietary currency called Unicoin. You can win Unicoins via betting and filling out surveys, etc. In some countries; including Canada, real money bets are also available.
Games covered by Unikrn include League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Starcraft 2, Call of Duty, Smile, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Tanks. There are often three or more live events taking place on the site.
Unfortunately, you won’t find a lot of new player bonuses. From time to time, free bets are offered. Take note that you cannot withdraw a free bet from your account – ever. This is a standard condition on free bets for most bookmakers.
Live streaming is available. After placing your bet you can watch the game or event. There is no mobile application for Unikrn. Customer service appears via live chat during specific hours and supplies an online form when the former does not work.
Although it is a small site, for the dedicated eSports bettor, it is a good place to release a little stress and have some fun. Earning Unicoins are easy and accessible to all members. Don’t expect a lot of features, but for an eSports only platform offering the most basic of betting systems, Unikrn is more than sufficient.
Extra Betting Roundup:
- Wide range of games
- Few welcome bonuses
- Live streaming available
- No mobile app
- Small eSports selection
It’s probably clear by now which one we at Extra Betting prefer… Unikrn isn’t better by far though, William Hill is also an excellent option when it comes to eSports. However, looking at the operator as a whole Unikrn is definitely the winner.
